74 State is conveniently located on historic State Street in the heart of Albany's business and entertainment districts and just steps from the State Capital.  Intimate in scale, 74 State defines upscale accomodations and sophisticated fine dining in the Capital Region as it offers unyielding attention to the comfort and well-being of its guests and dining patrons.

    Featuring 74 rooms and suites with classic furnishings, fine dining alternatives and superior service, 74 State also provides meeting and private dining amenities to cater to the needs of business and leisure travelers.  The three meeting rooms are on the second floor have a meeting capacity of 50 people in the largest room, and a board room with state-of- the-art meeting support technology available for small meetings.

    The ninth floor features the Executive Suite with a formal dining area and butler's pantry.  Each floor has two larger ensuite rooms with some rooms featuring whirlpool baths and fireplaces.  

    Marche, our fine dining restaurant, is located on the first floor serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room service is also available 24 hours a day.  The Bar at 74, our intimate piano bar and lounge, is located on the second floor while a private wine cellar is being constructed on the lower level.  A fitness center and access to a nearby private, full service health and fitness club are also available to hotel guests.
